Mediterranean Games Latakia

 

 

 

From 11th to 25th September 1987, the city of Latakia in Syria hosted the X Mediterranean Games.

Under the leadership of the head of delegation, Gérard Battaglia and the head of mission, Armand Forcherio, 5 Monegasque athletes with their trainers took part in this event:

  • Cycling: Stéphane Operto and his trainer Francisco Alonso,
  • Judo: Eric Bessi and Gilles Pagès and their trainer Jean-Claude Torterolo,
  • Swimming: Jean-Luc Adorno, accompanied by Evelyne Barral,
  • Tennis: Albert Viviani and his trainer Djamel Boudjemline.
