Established in 1987, the purpose of this federation is :
- to govern, organise and develop the practice of the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton by every means available, including advertising, sports training and organising competitions ;
- to establish regulations concerning the said activity ;
- to direct, co-ordinate and monitor the activities of its members.
