Established in 1982, the purpose of this federation is :to represent the Principality of Monaco within International Federations as well as at various international competitions ;
- to govern, organise and develop the practice of snow and ice sports, and skating ;
- to establish regulations concerning the said activities ;
- to direct, co-ordinate and monitor the activities of its members ;
- to promote snow and ice sports and skating among youth in the Principality of Monaco and to co-ordinate training ;
- to ensure the training of athletes who are to represent the Principality of Monaco at various events ;
- to group together all sports associations and association sections practising snow, ice sports, and skating, to promote and facilitate their setting-up, and to encourage and support their efforts.
