Established in 1950, the purpose of this federation is :

to promote the development of armsports and tighten the ties of friendship uniting fencers, by setting up permanent relations between the groups representing them in the Principality of Monaco ;

to ensure the enforcement of the International Fencing Federation's regulations and all decisions made by this Federation with regard to bans, suspensions or any other penalties pronounced by the latter for all sports events organised on Monegasque territory;

to regulate all matters and issues concerning Monegasque fencing in relationships with the International Federation, the various National Fencing Federations and the Public Authorities.
